Church of the Ascension
The Church of the Ascension Food Pantry began in 2014 when the youth of the Religious Education Program decided to collect food in a parish and school-wide food drive. Its mission is to assist the needy of the community, with an emphasis on offering food, friendship, education, and dignity. It is an on the ground pantry supported by many community-based organizations that serves as many as 400 families per week.
