Uptown Inner-City League, Inc.
Established in 1990, the Uptown Inner-City League (UICL) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the youth and families of West Harlem. Their mission is to provide a safe haven through sports-based programs that promote physical, social, and educational development. UICL offers a variety of initiatives focused on Sports, Education, Health, and Wellness. They believe that athletics is a powerful tool for building character, discipline, and teamwork. Through supportive mentorship and strategic partnerships, they introduce participants to careers in sports marketing and sports journalism. They remain committed to empowering youth and strengthening the community by using sports as a foundation for lifelong growth.
