Spring Clothing Drive

This year’s Spring Clothing Drive will support Cathedral Community Cares (CCC) as they work to meet an increased need in our local community. CCC provides direct services and support to vulnerable individuals within the Morningside Heights and Harlem community. The Spring Clothing Drive helps them stock their clothing closet with new and gently used items. 

CCC particularly needs the following clothing items:

  • Men: Underwear (all sizes except XXL), jeans (sizes 30 through 40), long sleeve shirts/polo (all sizes), hoodies (all sizes), sneakers (sizes 8 ½ through 12), socks (all sizes)
  • Women: Jeans (sizes 8 and 20), long sleeve shirts, sneakers (sizes 4 ½ through11), hoodies (all sizes)

CCS is also collecting personal hygiene products such as body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to create hygiene kits for homeless individuals.

Donation Locations

Columbia Community Service - Earl Hall, Room 304 - Wednesday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

The Forum - 605 W. 125th Street, in the lobby near the security desk - Monday to Thursday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Studebaker Building (All floors except the lobby) - 615 West 131st Street - Monday to Thursday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Beneficiary: Cathedral Community Cares

The Spring Clothing Drive will benefit the Cathedral Community Cares Clothing Closet at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, where the need for assistance has doubled due to current economic challenges. Cathedral Community Cares is one of dozens of CCS Grantees making a difference in our community.
