Donate to the Columbia 2025 Food Drive

April 14, 2025

This spring, the Military Veterans of Columbia University and Columbia Community Service (CCS) are working to address the ongoing food insecurity on campus and in the surrounding community.

The Food Pantry in Lerner Hall, which has been serving students since 2017, has been struggling to meet increasing needs since the pandemic. Today, its food supply is critically low.

Through its annual Food Relief campaign, Columbia Community Service provides grants to pantries and soup kitchens in Harlem and Morningside Heights that combat hunger.

If you can help, please drop off unexpired, nonperishable packaged foods and cans, such as soups, meats, pasta, and vegetables at one of the following locations between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, until May 1:

  • Lerner Hall (Near Lerner Café entrance)
  • John Jay (Dining Hall entrance)
  • Kent Hall (CVTI, Room 205)
  • Lewisohn Hall (GS Lounge)
  • Milstein Center, Barnard College (Entrance to the left)
  • Low Library (Public Safety receptionist desk)
  • School of Social Work (Library entrance)
  • College Walk (Periodic pop-ups)

More locations will be added for your convenience.

You can also Make a Donation at any time during the Food Drive – 100% of your gift is tax-deductible.

Together, we can help feed families and make our communities stronger – one meal at a time!
