Community Impact at Columbia University marked 45 years of service with one of its most inspiring honoree classes yet, including the longtime Director of Columbia Community Service.
At this time of the year, our food supply is critically low and food items such as canned meats, vegetables, soups, and pasta, which can be used to make a quick meal, are needed.
Last year, CCS supported 19 organizations that provide educational enrichment opportunities to more than 10,500 students in Morningside Heights and Harlem.
Since 2007, Yesenia Acevedo has supported CCS through payroll deduction, all while helping lead a University dining initiative that has donated $42,000 to local nonprofits since 2019.
